Spring is in the air and lately I've been busy editing, and adding to, my clients wardrobes to reflect the change in seasons. Everyone, myself included, is eager to shed layers and embrace the warming temperatures with open arms.
While Spring '14 trends (think skate shoes, mules, off-the-shoulder tops/dresses..) and colors (orange, pink and cool pastels..) are great to incorporate subtly, it always comes down to well thought out basics that best transition a wardrobe from season to season.
Oftentimes I find people focus their energy on finding that one perfect "wow" piece - it makes a great statement for a moment but doesn't translate into long term or repeated wear. I'm fully on board with the occasional "wow" piece but typically my main objective is buying classic basics with staying power.
Below I've curated 10 effortless basics (in two price ranges), many of which I own, that I feel will help jumpstart any tired spring wardrobe.
