Every now and then I get the urge to hop a plane and get lost in a big city. It's a contradiction to my normal distaste for typical big city trappings, i.e. insane traffic, confined living arrangements, smog, chilly weather (ok, only typical to some metropolitan cities...) but for all that I dislike there is more that I crave. I love the vibrancy, the culture, the diversity - there is something about that intangible feeling of being a small fish in a big pond that makes you feel really alive and awake :)
